OVERVIEW
The biographical drama follows legendary Czechoslovak figure skater Ondrej Nepela (Josef Trojan), who returns home after his triumph at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo. While the public celebrates him as a sporting icon, he longs to escape the “gilded cage” of socialist Czechoslovakia and find a place where he can truly be himself.
