OVERVIEW
Curveballs tells the story of the Louisville Slugger Warriors, the only amputee baseball team in the world. Its founder, David Van Sleet, wanted to give hope to war veterans and anyone who had lost a limb, and to show that with determination, almost anything is possible. The film captures the powerful stories of players who, after war injuries or tragic accidents, found their way back to sports and the joy of life. Led by former Major League Baseball stars, they defeat even able-bodied opponents and prove that disability does not have to mean the end of dreams.
