What happens in the mountains stays in the mountains, and down below, they can do whatever they want. The real spice of the Krkonoše Mountains are the local mountaineers who live here, regardless of the season. A skier with one leg, a snowcat driver who doesn't drink on Three Kings Day, a legendary womanizer blessed with infertility, a bartender with a penchant for fortune telling. And Pavka, the oldest living member of the traditional Bulán cross-country skiing family. After all, his father broke his pole during the 50 km race and still finished eleventh, and he had his son Pavka born on Sněžka at high altitude so that he would oxygenate faster. But it is his son Jura who worries him. Instead of cross-country skiing, he is chasing a completely different kind of fifty. He is addicted to seducing mature women, warming them from the cold.
