OVERVIEW

A feature film inspired by Ugandan boxer Julie Aloyo, who decides to fight not only in the ring but, above all, for her family. After her father’s death during the conflict with the LRA rebels, she moves to Kampala to support her mother, her sick brother and her sister. From an ordinary job, she gradually finds her way into boxing, which becomes her path to a better life. The film is a powerful story of female courage, perseverance and overcoming social barriers.
